Good

Staff were really welcoming and helpful. Location was perfect for ferries on lake, 10 mins from railway station and town centre. Breakfast had good choice with something for everyone.

Pleasant and enjoyable

Clean hotel, good breakfast. efficient and polite restaurant staff.

Room would benefit from updating. Poor tv, no facilities to make own hot drinks I think putting room numbers on room keycards is a security risk especially if guest loses card

The pool area was very nice. All the staff in the hotel were absolutely amazing, welcoming and super friendly. Breakfast and diner were very good.

The hotel and rooms are dated. The mattress was quite uncomfortable. The hotel really needs a makeover.

Great stay in Stresa!

The staff was wonderful at this hotel. Breakfast was great as was the bar. We enjoyed spending a couple hours at the pool after returning from a day on the lake. Bathroom was a good size!

The location was ok - but we would have preferred to stay closer to the main downtown area. The bed was decent, but bedding could use an upgrade. The hotel is on a rather busy road, so although we had a nice balcony with a view towards the lake it also overlooked the road.

Hotel Della Torre is probably a good value compared to some more expensive, centrally located hotels in Stresa, if price

Sort of charming older hotel; very nice pool area; dining room and breakfast was very good; staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Very small room (“double”) - maybe smallest hotel room we’ve ever had; just enough room to walk around the bed; no room to open suitcase except on bed; bathroom was fine;. Tried to upgrade but they were sold out to a tour group. Air conditioning was spotty - apparently it is controlled by the front desk because our thermostat didn’t work until we called the front desk and asked them to check to see if our A/C was working. For us (senior couple) it was a sort of a long walk to central Stresa where all the shops and most of the restaurants are. It was at least 3/4 mile down a fairly long hill. Going to town downhill was easy - the walk back uphill at night after dinner, not so much. For younger visitors, it probably isn’t a problem and Della Torre may be a good value - just be sure you know what size room you are getting.

Very nice stay in beautiful location.

Lovely hotel with nice restaurant and bar. Staff were very helpful and one was even a very accomplished pianist and played requests for guests in the evening.

Great

Friendly and helpful staff at the hotel. Maria at the reception was super helpful and recommended us where to spend a great time a part being in Stresa.

Swimming pool was closed early and on the date of arrival we couldn’t swim the next day. There is was no information on the booking.com

Good experience. Nice hotel, where you can also rent an E-Bike to explore!

Nice clean room. Good breakfast buffet. If you want to have a seat outside, make sure to either come in early or rather late. Peak time breakfast you might have to sit inside. Especially when hotel is booked out, or in weekends.

Very enjoyable. Only a short walk from the ferry in Carciana, but unfortunately the big ferries didn’t always stop there

Comfortable hotel with a nice swimming pool area. Helpful and friendly staff.

The hotel was very quiet in the evenings. There were no facilities to purchase a drink or snacks during the day. The swimming pool area sold drinks, but no snacks available to buy.

Good, but should be cheaper and better breakfast options

- pool and pool bar is nice - cleaning staff cleans everyday - nice view (lake side) - nice room size for 2 people - close to dock

- breakfast has little option, everyday is the same, it’s not Italian breakfast but more English with is not suitable for vegetarians - annoying staff during the breakfast, makes the experience less pleasant when running around the tables constantly - Tv in the room doesn’t work with internet - dinner price is too high - AC cannot be turned off, so it’s freezing unless you open the balcony

The staff were top notch. The balcony/terrace was large with good view even on level 1. The evening dinner was excellent value.

Only the shower wasn't the best in our bathroom. Everything else very good.
